On Saturday March the 9th we hosted our Hats, Heels and High Tea fundraiser at the Tottenham Community Centre, it was a sold out event with wonderful food provided by various local sponsors, live music played by Banting music students, prizes, swag bags for each guest to take home and a raffle with so many amazing items to win donated by many local business and community members. Thank you to all who bought tickets and attended!
Hats, Heels and High Tea is one of our major fundraisers for the year, we work hard to put together a fun afternoon for our guests, but it is also a very important event for us to raise funds for the shelter, our in-shelter services and outreach services.
We would like to thank the following companies for sponsoring the event: One Step Ahead Professional Organizing, Capstone Renovations, Sobeys Angus, Sheldon Creek Dairy, Naomi Simpson Astrology, Rory McKinnon/ McDonald's, All Simcoe Drywall, Bake My Day Bakery, Alliston Botanix, Lamonte and Collings Insurance Services, Western Financial Group, Vanguard Labour Relations Consulting, Tottenham Vince's Market, White Willow Event Rentals, Transcending Thoughts.
We would like to thank the following businesses and community members for their donation of prizes, food or items for the swag bags: Circle Theatre, Crow Bar Soap Company, McDonalds, Longo's, A Taxing Situation, Zacchigna Re/Max Team, Trillium Ford, Bake My Day Bakery, Grandma's Beach Treats, NTOC, Brisco's, The Heating Source, The town of New Tecumseth, Revital Eyes Med Spa, Fire and Ice Jewelry, Parks Canada, Mud and Otis, Foodland, Beauty Counter, Water Depot, Western Financial Group, One Step Ahead Professional Organizing, Diane Hewitt, Robert Mann, Kate Reid, Brenda Rich, Lisa Webb, Adjala Hand Quilters, Irene Lavalette, Sandra Pereira.
Thank you so much to our volunteers, without you we are not able to put on events like this. To our student volunteers: Nico and Matthew for doing our photography, to Jericho, Brianna and Mr. Kennedy for providing our live music and to Emily, Amelia, Leah, Kevin, Caleb, Cameron and Kaeli for all the work you did with set up, running throughout the event and clean up at the end. Thank you!
We are happy to announce that this year’s Hats, Heels and High Tea event raised over $9000.
We hope to see you all at next years Tea!
