Our Trees For Shelter program originated with past board members and blossomed into a well oiled agricultural fundraising machine. The program cultivates and sells potted trees under the direction of retired forester, Doug Skeates. With his expertise and current board member Dave Johnson's farming abilities, we now have 4 varieties of beautiful trees ready for you to plant. Trees are $25 each (CASH ONLY) and all money raised from this fundraiser goes to the shelter, our in shelter and out reach programs.
Each year, MSP Staff, Board Members and their families get together to plant sapling trees into 3 gallon pots to sell next year in our Trees for Shelter Fundraiser! Sunday May 5th, was this years planting day. Then our board member Dave lovingly waters each tree so it grows throughout the rest of the year so you can buy them next year!
