What a great, hardworking team of volunteers we had out this past Sunday for our Trees for Shelter tree planting day! With everyone working together we potted 400 trees. Each spring we have a plating day where we pot the trees that we will sell the next year. This gives the saplings a chance to grow over one season before being sold as part of our Trees for Shelter fundraising campaign.  

We have 4 varieties available; White Spruce, White Cedar, Red Maple and Cranberry Bushes, for $25 each. They can be purchased by calling Dave at 705 458 9076 or at Murphy's Farm Market and Bakery located at 5141 County Road 10, Alliston.

Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered their time, and thank you to Juste from the Alliston RBC Branch for organizing a group from the bank to help. It was a beautiful day to plant some trees.
